my husband left me and is saying he isn't the father of my son. he signed the birth certificate and my son is 10 months old. what are the laws of signing over rights? and what can i leagally do in a divorce and with him signing over rights? can i stop him from doing this? i dont want a divorce and i dont want him to sign his rights over.

A parent cannot voluntarily relinquish his/her rights to a child without the Court's approval, and the Court will typically not approve it unless it's part of an adoption. If your husband wants a divorce, then he will eventually be able to get one whether you agree or not.
