Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
There is a person who claims to be my husband's biological child. This person is a grown adult who is almost 40. We have teenage children that this person keeps trying to contact. We have told our children about this person and none of us want this person in our lives. This person insists that they have the right to get to know our children. We have blocked this person on all our facebook pages after telling this person if they do not leave us alone, we would contact an attorney. Is there any recourse for us?

Your best option will probably be to (a) have an attorney send this person a letter asking that they have no further contact, and if that doesn't work (b) to seek a Restraining Order to prohibit further contact.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
