Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

post-divorce support

My wife granted me an uncontested divorce nine years ago. We have two children and live in differents states as we did back then (She lives in South Carolina and I lived in North Carolina where the divorce was granted). Can she take me to court for more support even after the uncontested divorce?

Re: post-divorce support

In SC, one may request an increase in child support upon showing that the circumstances have significantly changed since the parties were last in Court.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
