Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

is there any precedent for the lesser earning spouse to be ordered to pay alimony to the higher earning spouse? (lesser earning spouse could not afford an attorney at divorce hearing, while higher earning spouse/wife had benefit of an attorney). Is there are any recourse after 8 months?

Without knowing much more information, it's not possible to answer that question, as there are many factors that come into play in alimony determinations.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
