Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

no response from lawyer

my divorce was final in march2007 my lawyer was to appear back to court within three months to reach a financial agreement from my ex- husband I have heard nothing from him I keep calling but he never returns my calls, I can't afford another lawyer, please help me what should I do?

If you cannot get your attorney to respond to you, you can (and probably should) contact the SC Bar to obtain their assistance. You are paying (or have paid) the attorney, and he/she should keep in touch with you.
