Restraining Orders

Can my son's father who is not a recognized gaurdian of my son go to court and ask for a restraining order against my parents becasue my son and I are moving back into my parents home.

He told me that my parents would not be able to see my son.

Mean while he is not on my son's birth certificate and is not my son's sole guardian.

Re: Restraining Orders

He can request any relief he desires, but whether the Court will grant it or not is another question. Generally, the Court will not restrain someone (especially a relative) from being around a child unless the person making the request can show that that person poses a threat or danger to the child in some way.
