Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Revocable Livinng Trust

I just purchased a Living Trust kit. Prior to us being married there was a will completed with my husband children with division of assets.

Question...Will the new living trust/will supersede the previous will immediately? How can I make sure this will be a clean Living Trust to avoid conflict of wills.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Revocable Livinng Trust

With issues as important (and complex) as living trusts, you should consult with an experienced attorney instead of relying on a "kit." The kit will not be able to give you any specific advice, and it certainly won't be there for you if the law changes, problems arise, etc.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
