What is the law or what happens if a parent does not send a child to school

There are many potential problems for a parent that does not send his/her child to school under normal conditions: (a) D.S.S. charges of educational neglect; (b) possiblity of losing custody of the child; and (c) potential criminal charges under certain conditions.
