Is there a certain length of time after complaint is filed and served to have court hearing?

The determination of when to schedule a hearing is dependent upon the facts of each particular case. It can be as soon as a few days if everyone cooperates and Court time is available.

On the other hand, it can be as long as many months if the case is contested or the docket is backlogged.
