Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
You get separated from your wife, she has your daughter and a restraining order against you. If she comes to your house to drop your daughter off what happens to you?
1 Answer from Attorneys
The answer will depend on the language of your specific restraining order. If it is a simple "no harassment" restraining order, then that will not necessarily preclude you from even being around each other, much less her from dropping off your child. Again, without seeing your specific Order though, it's not possible to provide any advice.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
