Settling outside of court
at a temporary hearing, once an order has been made, can you avoid the order if you settle outside of court before the next hearing?

You can't "avoid" the order, but you can agree to modify its terms by having another order issued. That can be accomplished by settlement in one form or another.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
