Does a GAL have the right to discuss your case with any one other than the parents of the children, case worker, or any lawyers involved?

It depends on what you mean by "discuss" here. A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is REQUIRED to conduct an investigation into the facts of each particular case, and that generally involves talking with witnesses other than the parents, caseworkers, or attorneys.
