Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

i am in south carolina. i pay child support. My x tells me that i have to pay half of medical bills, eye glasses,. Do i have to be responsiable to pay half of everything? We have joint custody.

The Order that establishes the child support obligation will typically also specify how the medical expenses will be paid. The Guidelines provide that the custodial parent pays the first $250 per calendar year with any excess being divided pro-rata based on your incomes. However, the Order can also specify a different allocation, particularly if you have joint custody.
