Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

South Carolina requires 1 year of seperation before filing for a divorce. We have a 16 month old daughter that lives with my wife. We have a visitation agreement that we both signed and it was witnessed by two outsiders stating that we alternate every other weekend. My first weekend is coming up on Friday 10/7 and now she says she won't let me see her because she is mad. With this

agreement can I contact law inforcement to go with me to pick her up with the paperwork we both signed?

The agreement itself is not enforceable at the present time, however the Court can consider it when determining how to address the visitation issue. You should discuss this situation with your attorney - or retain one if you are not currently represented.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
