Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

(South Carolina) my wife myself recently got back together to work on our marriage, there was never any legal documentation of a 2 week seperation and now she wants me to move out on the spot, im not on the lease, is it possible that can she have the police remove me when no violence or an endangered environment is present?

If you are married, you both have equal rights to marital property, until and unless there is an order saying otherwise. If you have not committed a criminal act, the police should not get involved (though sometimes they still try to do so).

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.SpartanburgLawyers.com). I wish you the best of luck.
