Stopping Child support

What is the age and requirements to stop Child support in South Carolina?

I have one child and have a court order to pay thru the court. How do I stop it. He is 18 now.

Re: Stopping Child support

Generally, child support stops at the later of reaching 18 years of age or finishing high school. If there is just one child, you can take proof of either/both to the Clerk of Court and they should be able to assist you in closing the account.
