Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
support
Child support stops when: 18 or when the child graduates high school. If the child turns 18 before he graduates when does the order have to be before the court before he turns 18 to have it extended until the child graduates high school. Thanks

Re: support
The answer depends on the specific language of the order establishing the child support obligation. Typically, the support does continue until the later of the two items you mentioned.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
