Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Type your question here...I have been legal seprated from my husband now for almost 3 years . we have a court order for the child support of our son who is 5. His father pay's 106.00, weekly, has never missed a payment , we do not go the court for the child support in our sepration paper , it state's that if he more then 2 week late with the child support i may go thru the clerk of court to file paper for it to be taken out of his pay check,if he does not pay it. Now , he pays with a personal check each week. last night he broke his coller bone riding a horse . I work full time and i make 11.00 hr, i get paid every 2 weeks, am also a full time college student on top of that , we pay no child care for our son. now, to day i found -out due the fact he broke his coller bone , he will be out of work for some time. and i will have no child support coming in, for at least 2 months. the lost of my son child support is giong to kill me, for that amount of time. What can i do to make sure i get the back childsupport he will owe , me for the weeks he does not pay, i dont need the hole 106.00, I WILL TAKE 50.00, OR 25.00 A WEEK . I HAVE NOT called my lawyer yet. i dont want to get the court involed yet. we donnt get along very well, but i put that aside for my son, i do not want to ge to mean. I have thought of just drawing up a contract for him to sign saying something about the child support and payment option for him. what should it say?
