Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Uncontested adultery charges

If my friend is accused of adultery in a divorce case, but he does not contest the charge, will his wife have to produce names, dates, etc. of the alleged affair? He doesn't want to involve the woman he is accused of having the affair with in a court situation.

Re: Uncontested adultery charges

The wife must prove when and with whom he committed adultery. It is possible to have that done without bringing the "other woman" to Court, but if the wife wants to do so, she probably can.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
