Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Visitation
When my ex-husband and I divorced we both resided in Columbia, SC. I relocated to Fayetteville, NC. Initially we met half way for him to pick his son up for the weekend which is a 2 & 1/2 hour trip for me. I informed him that I can't drive to me him but that he could still pick him up and drop him off. He stated that I must meet him half way or if he picks him up then I must come to Columbia, SC to get him. Please advise if a judge can make me meet hi half way.

Re: Visitation
Yes, the Court can make you meet him halfway, and based on the information you provided, it probably will. Typically, the person moving away will be required to bear more of the burden of transportation.
