Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Visitation

I file for a amend visitation order in virginia to have a set schedule, my ex-wife file that the father should have supervised visitation only because of his bipolar and anti-social disorder, will this keep me from having unsupervise visits?

Re: Visitation

In SC, those issues will certainly be considered, as the Court wants to ensure that the children are kept in a safe, proper environment. However, simply being diagnosed with those disorders will not necessarily mean that you would not get any unsupervised visitation. These cases tend to be very fact specific, and as such, the outcomes can vary from case to case.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
