Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
My wife's name is the only one on that house, can she sell the home with out me being involved? We bought the home while were married and we still are.

If an asset is titled in either spouse's name or both names, then it is a marital asset. As such, you are probably entitled to some portion of the equity in it. However, if you sit back and let her sell it without taking steps to protect your interest, then it may be more difficult to get compensation for it later. You should act now to be safe.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
