I worked on a friends moms computer as a favor, I could not fix it completly, but did buy parts to replace broken ones. Now his mom is taking out civil papers on me about the computer claiming I removed parts which I removed broken ones and replaced them with good ones. I charged her no money either for the parts I bought or for trying to fix the computer. I did nothing wrong or illegal I was just doing a favor for my friend and was trying to get his moms computer fixed for him because he asked me to. I used my money to buy parts, my gas to pick up the computer and charged no money for anything now Im having to go to court. What should I do?????

If she is suing you then you will have to defend the law suit. It is not advisable to do this on your own. You should immediately contact an attorney. Good luck.
