Re: My daughter

First of all, I am very sorry for your daughter and your family. As far as your question, please understand that the key to getting quality legal advise is information. I don't know what "cps" is and I don't know what a "std" is. Most importantly, you did not explain exactly what happened. You said that "it was not handled properly." I'm afraid that is simply too vague for a legal response. My suggestion would be to organize the best you can and the best you can remember all of the fact including who was contacted, which persons you actually spoke with, when you contacted them, what they said they would do, etc. I would also round up any paperwork that you may have from the investigation or anything else that an attorney may need to look at. Once you have all of the information then you can call some lawyers and maybe you can get an appointment so that they can go over everything you have. This is not the type of case that I personally have experience with so I would not be the right person to consult with. I wish you the best.
