Money OWED

about a year ago i hade taken a loan out for about 3200. the loan was for a then serious boyfrien whom was in debt. the idea was to pay off what could be paid off and get his credit back on track. again, the loan was to pay off his debt, i did not use one cent of the loan for myslef. I have recipts showing what he used it for. we broke up a month after recieving the loan. he had paid on the loan every month the amount due up untill july. what kind of action if any can be taken to get the money and/or have him continue to pay off the loan?

Re: Money OWED

You never said if the loan you took out for him was persuant to an agreement for him to repay you or if you gave it to him as a gift. If there was an agreement then you can sue him, but you will have to prove it was an agreement, and then you will have the headache of trying to collect it. If it was a gift then a gift is a gift. Good luck.
