Legal Question in Civil Litigation in South Carolina

I purchased a trailer from an individual that told me that they didn't have a title but would tried to find out how to get one. The trailer has never been titled in the state of South Carolina, so they can not get a title. I need to know what I can do about this?

You'll have to call the DMV and ask what their procedure and requirements are for that. It may fall under the category of what they call, Lost or Misplaced. Ask them about that.
