Legal Question in Civil Litigation in South Carolina
Are the standards to move for reconsideration in a federal district court (Rule 59) the same for moving in the federal court of appeals?
I would like to move for reconsideration of a order handed down by a circuit court/ However, I can't find any case law discussing the elements to do so on an order handed by an appellate court. I am just looking for an answer generally (so that the actual court doesn't matter as much as this point).
Thanks!

They are similar, but not exact. Please be careful with any time frames. Federal court takes time frames very seriously. The best thing you can do is consult with an attorney who can ask you questions to get the necessary details so that you can be properly advised. I wish you well
