Suing for Scar

I was in an unhealthy relationship last year and my boyfriend at the time cut me and I have a 2 inch long scar that looks horrible, I never filed a report or did anything and it's been over 1 year. i want plastic surgery to repair it, is he liable to pay for the costs etc? What are my options and what chance is there that he may have to pay or not?

You can call the police and ask that they file a report and issue a warrant for his arrest. However, they might not be willing to do so since you waited so long. You can also sue him, but you will still need to prove that he did it. Did he cut you on purpose?
