verbal assault

Can an indivual press charges for verbal assault? And if so can intimidation charges follow with a restraining order?

A warrant can be taken out for a person's arrest for the crime of Assault. Note that this is "Assault." Not "Assault and Battery." The first step is to call the polic who will come out and fill out a police report and then tell you what to do next. I am not sure what you mean by "intimidation" charges. A person can seek a restraining order through the local magistrate's office. There are certain requirements for obtaining such an order and each case is looked at differently.
