Legal Question in Immigration Law in South Carolina
Change of visa status
My girlfriend is here on a B-2 visa and wants to change her visa so she can work here in the US. She's not sure of the visa she needs and the paper work that needs to be done.

Re: Change of visa status
Dear Sir,
Your girlfriend should be able to change her status assuming he meets the prerequisites for the particular visa she is seeking. One of the most common options is that of the H-1B visa which requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent to work in a "specialty occupation." There may however be other options available to her. It is best to consult with a immigration attorney once she has a job offer in hand and consider the various possibilities.
Sincerely,
Sameer Kumar
