Marriage and work status

I am an american citizen and am going to marry a man I have been dating who is dutch. How long will the proccess take to where he is able to work in the US?

If everything is in order and he is in the US a safe assumption is about 3-4 months from the time of filing before he can work. Unfortunately, processing times vary and can change fairly often.
