Legal Question in Insurance Law in South Carolina

Abandonment of property

Home was a total loss in a fire, and is setting on a rental lot.The insurance company paid off on the home but not the total amount that was owed on the home. What the insurance said was that they would abandon the home back to me so that it would be my responsibility to move the home. But,the home is not paid for and a balance will be owed on the home.I thinking that the mortagage company would be responsible for move this home off of this rental property.

Can i be made to move this home.

Everything you need to know, including what you are entitled to and what responsibilities everyone has is dictated by your insurance policy. I would advise that you get it and have it reviewed by an attorney.
