Liability

My father was murdered while living with my sister. Should the insurance company pay damages? The person that was convicted of this crime was by ex-brother-in-law. (he was married to my sister when this happened)

I think your probably referring to a Homeowners Insurance polcicy. Its unlikely that there would be any coverage available. You really need to have any and all possible policies evaluated.
