Legal Question in Insurance Law in South Carolina

My sister got her car totalled by someone else running a red. Can my sister get money back from her lose of use of a car? Like she's been getting rides from family and friends and wasting there time to just get her to work. Can she get any money back from that or not?

Its possible that she can. But she needs advise from her insurance company and a lawyer on how to go about it. I cannot give much advise here because I don't have the insurance information that I would need in order to tell her what to do. I represent people in South Carolina who have been injured in car accidents. If she or anyone in the car was injured, I would be happy to talk with them.
