Re: subrogation

Subrogation can apply in many different insurance situations. An example would be this. Say a person had an accident that wasn't their fault. The person's own personal medical insurance company paid for the person's doctor bill. The person brought a claim against the at-fault driver. The person's personal insurance company could assert a subrogation claim on the lawsuit for the money spent on the doctor's bill. This is just one example.
