Legal Question in Insurance Law in South Carolina

Townhouse homeowners Insurance

I live in a townhouse which is in a building with four units. It is deeded to me and I own if from the ground. The POA covenants treat it as a condominium for insurance purposes. I want to insure it myself and not be covered by the master policy. How can I remove it from the master policy and get my own insurance?

Re: Townhouse homeowners Insurance

Look at or have an attorney look at the by-laws to see what limitations there are on doing that.
