Legal Question in Intellectual Property in South Carolina
If I go to the mall and purchase a novelty license plate for a college team. Can i take this plate and use it for the top on a birdhouse and resell it without a trademark infringement.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. If you use someone's intellectual property without their permission, you can and likely will get sued. You need permission, usually via a license. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
