I have referrals for UK attorneys if you need them.

You should consult with a local attorney in your jurisdiction first, and provide all relevant documents. The contract underlying the transaction may contain provisions on dispute resolution, choice of law/forum, etc.
If you need a referral to UK counsel, we would be happy to provide one.
Best wishes,

I agree with Mr. Graves that you may be authorized by your contract and the facts to properly litigate this matter in SC, but you would still need to consult with a UK attorney to find out how to enforce your US judgment, which may be rather difficult. So you would probably want to consult with the UK attorney first to know if you would be buying an expensive piece of paper from a SC court or an enforceable judgment. My firm is affiliated with several firms in other countries and would be able to connect you with a UK attorney. 30 minutes of their time may safe you a lot of money and grief.
