Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in South Carolina

Is this eviction legal?

boyfreind,I and all of our children have been residing in this residence for almost 2 years. We have 2 children in common, and his brother has verbally given this home to him. However, he keeps calling me, and leaving messages on my phone that he wants me out, and he called yesterday and told me that I had 5 days to get out, or he was going to the magistrate. The title to this home is still in his name. The land is in their fathers' name. We never had a written lease. Can he legally kick me out of here? Is the verbal agrement legal? If so, what do we do to stop this?

You need to hire an attorney. You also need the father to give you and your boyfriend a letter consenting to your occupancy of the land ( or better yet a deed.)

How can your boyfriend's brother own the house if title is in the father's name? Is it a trailer?
