Mobile home past lot rent

I just purchased a mobile home located in a mobile home park and they want me to pay past lot rent for the people that lived there before who did not pay the lot rent. I said no and that I would just move the mobile home and they replied that they will take me to small claims court. Can I be held liabile for lot rent that happend before I purchased this mobile home?

Need to see agreement to advise. Call or email ASAP. There may be a lien for past rent that attached to trailer.
