non.leasee rights

i am married and have a lease with only my name on it. my husband is staying here with me . i do not think he can be put on the lease because of past crimminal background. can he stay with me without being on the lease and if not how long can he be here without being considered a tenant?

Need to read your lease to advise. No doubt there is a no-overnight guest/additional tenant restriction. I do charge for lease review and legal consultation.
