Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in South Carolina

wanting to break lease

I was reading over my lease and I didn't see anything that stated that there would be a negative effect on my credit if I decided to break the lease it only states that I would have to pay some fees and that I was not entitled to my deposit. If I decided to leave early can he put a negative report on my credit even if it wasn't mentioned in the lease

Re: wanting to break lease

My practical view is that you cannot prevent yourlessor from putting a negative report on your credit, if he choses to do so. However, it is another thing if the same will have a negative effect on your credit.
