Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina
I was in an accident about a month ago that involved a friends car falling on me while I was under it. I was wanting to know if I might be able to file a claim with his insurance company. Is that possible or does it have to be an acual auto accident? Thanks.

I have never specifically seen that sort of coverage on an auto policy. Usually coverage relates to the "operation" of the vehicle. However, insurance policies can include coverage that you would not normally expect. Plus, not all policies are the same. I would suggest having an attorney reveiw the policy for you. I just am not comfortable telling you there is no coverage without knowing for sure. Its worth checking into.
You might also want to see if there is any sort of coverage relating to the property you were on. Such as a homeowners insurance policy. I have no idea where you were, but that might be worth looking into as well.
