Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina
dental claim
I went to a dentist office to get a tooth filled and one pulled. I had not been there in 10 months and when I was there last if was a consult and they told me some things I needed to have done. one was a bridge I never told them I wanted a bridge nor did I make an appt for that. When I made my appt I told them what it was for. The dentist came in never told me what he was doing nor did he review what was in my chart. He numbed my mouth and started to work on my teeth. When I realized that he was working on teeth that there was nothing wrong with I got very upset. We finally decided to put temporary crowns on the teeth he had runined until I decide what I want to do. He wants me to either go with permanant crowns or get a bridge. He says I can pay each month until I get whichever I choose paid for. I think he should fixed my teeth with whichever is the best and he should be liable and I should not have to pay anything. Am I right. It is not enough money to retain a lawyer for but it more than I am willing to pay, when the teeth had nothing wrong with them to begin with. Do I send a letter to the office manager or directly to the dentist himself.

Re: dental claim
A letter is a good approach. Respectfully detail your concerns and complaints. Directing the letter to the dentist is probably best. Good luck.
