Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina

settlement offers

i was involved in an accident the ins.adj. said it was minor i went to the chiropractor approx 2 mo. they released me because the ins.adj. said they werent going to pay them, they offered me $2000 my bill is around $1700 i dont think this is a fair offer what are my options?

While a $2,000 offer certainly sounds low based on $1,700 medical bills, it is impossible to say that with certainty until all of the facts of your case are known. Small differences in facts can make a big difference in the amount your case is worth.

Also, keep in mind that insurance adjusters are paid to get you to settle your case for as little as possible. They are experienced negotiators, whereas most accident victims are not, and most attempt to take advantage of that fact.
