Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina
I slipped and fell at my ex mother in laws apartment. I was carrying her groceries in and I fell in her kitchen on her ceramic tile floor. For some reason there was water condensation all over her floor. I went to the urgent care center the next day as it was bothering me pretty good and declined to have xrays as the NP was certain it was sprain. But the next week it was worse. So I went back to get xrays and found that I have a fractured tibia. Is the apartment complex liable? Why would there be condensation and moisture in her kitchen on her floor?

I wish I could be more help, but the truth of the matter is you probably should be asking a carpenter, building inspector, maintenance person, or some other individual who is more qualified to tell you how there could be any form of water on the floor. Maybe there's attorneys that might know, but the odds are far better with someone with construction or building experience. Maybe a plumber would be best suited. Once you find out, then that would be the right time to consult with a lawyer.
You didn't mention it, but not only knowing how it got there, but for how long the problem existed is also very useful information. Not just at this particular apartment, but any other apartments in that building.
