Legal Question in Product Liability in South Carolina

I'm wanting to know if it's worth my time to file a small claims suit againt a company who installed a fence for me in May that is now falling apart? They told me that since they didn't provide a warranty, my suit would not hold up in court. I could see if the fence was 5 or 10 years old, but the fence isn't even six months old and it's coming apart.

Yes. You may have a warranty argument even though one was not written. You may have other causes of action too.
