PoA for Purchase of Home
My wife , VA resident, and I are buying a home in SC. Does she fill out a VA PoA or SC PoA for me to represent her at closing?

Before signing, the POA form should be reviewed by the attorney/title company in South Carolina that will be conducting the closing. The actual execution of the document can be done before a notary in Virginia.

She will need a South Carolina Power of Attorney, but she can sign it before a Virginia Notary.
