Legal Question in Real Estate Law in South Carolina

Real Estate Law

My lady friend was given a piece of LAND for $ 5.00 with love & affection, this house & land was signed over to her for the aforementioned price. Can this person change their mind and give it to some one else or, would she need my lady friend to sign it back over to her . She does not want to lose this house & land but is not sure what her rights are in this situation. The person who gave her the land is her ''AUNT'' who is 81yrs old and, her memory is not very good at this time. She has all the necessary papers awarding her the house & property but is not sure of the above situation. I would appreciate any help you could give me at this time. THANKS

Re: Real Estate Law

If the aunt properly executed a valid deed to your friend, it's a done deal. However, she should have a local attorney reivew the paperwork.
