Legal Question in Real Estate Law in South Carolina
real estate
We own a piece of property in Texas, however live in South Carolina. Can we sell the property from South Carolina or do we have to do it in Texas?

Re: real estate
I don't see why not. My real estate practice here in Horry County involves people from out of state and we simply prepare all of the documents and overnight them to be signed and notarized. They then overnight the documents back. In the meantime if they have any questions about what they are signing they can simply call us. However, what your asking is not pursuant to SC law or procedure, but rather TX law and procedure. Your best bet is to verify this with a TX attorney. Your welcome to call or write if you have any other questions. [email protected] Robert Johnston
